The Yamaha inverter models are light-weight, compact, quiet and they have inverter technology that produces a wave distortion ratio of less than 2.5%. These single phase petrol machines are rated from 900 watts to 2500 watts and are identified by the “i” in their descriptions (EF1000iS, EF2400iS, EF2800i). They are ideal for supplying “very clean” AC power to sensitive electronic equipment. The EF2400iS is so cleverly designed that two of these units can be stacked (one on top of the other) and connected to produce almost double the output.
